Mind Games began retailing adult games, puzzles and novelties in 1977 and has always been the yardstick by which other games stores are measured.

Franchising began in 1982 and now there are 11 stores in the eastern states, 7 of them franchised. The company has never actively sought out franchisees but has grown by attracting friends, relatives, previous store managers and people with a genuine love of good games and puzzles.

FRANCHISE FEE: $7,700 initial plus $7,700 pa
ROYALTY & ADVERTISING LEVY: nil
TURNOVER: $200-1 million+ with at least a 40% gross margin.
 

Franchisor Support

Includes the use and benefits of the trade name, site location and setting up, computerised stock control, all major stationery, group buying where advantageous and ongoing advice and assistance.
