Tabatinga Founders Marketing Excellence Recognised
Tabatinga Family Fun Centre founders, Cathy & Brian Parker have won the Chamber of Commerce 2011 Marketing & Advertising Award for the second year running. The award recognises the innovative and effective marketing strategies that the couple have put in place over the last 12 months.
Brian Parker said, ´The current economic climate means that local business owners must become very marketing savvy in order to continue to bring the customers into their businesses. Winning this award for the second year running is a great recognition of the focus we have put into the most important part of any business, the marketing.´
´At Tabatinga we continually add new innovations and strategies to our marketing system to ensure we are at the top of mind when families think about their leisure activities. The beauty of our efforts over the last 2 years means that we have an arsenal of strategies that we can pass onto our franchisees so they can hit the ground running with tactics they can employ in any circumstance.´
This recognition comes just weeks after the business was awarded the 2011 Best Tourist Attraction on the NSW North Coast at their annual tourism awards night.
Cathy Parker was also a finalist in the 2011 Business Woman of the Year at the Chamber awards in recognition of the impressive growth in the turnover of Tabatinga and the mountain of charitable work she performs in the local community. Cathy said, ´The way we structure the Tabatinga business model, our franchisees will become recognised as experts in their field and celebrities in their communities. It is only natural that these types of accolades will come their way as well.´
