With the 2010 economy in recovery there are bound to be new opportunities for growth and expansion for franchise systems in the $120 billion sector. Although 67 per cent of fast-growing franchise systems claim to have prepared for the downturn, just 18 per cent said the crisis was a key concern reported in a BRW survey.

New confidence in the job market is bound to bring about job opportunities for franchisors along with rising interest rates and new franchise rules, 2010 could be the year to bring even better rewards for the franchise industry.
